This is the original camping area at our facility and offers comfortable accommodation for up to 80 people, bunk bed style. En-suite wooden cabins overlook the blissful waters of the Breede River. This area also includes an elevated lounge/bar area aptly named "The Deck" overlooking the Breede River, a boma and a conference centre.
This stunning and well-loved campsite can easily accommodate up to 96 people. The safari-style wooden bungalows with bunk beds are shaded by towering gum trees and open up to a lush lawn that extends down to the river. The campsite includes a multipurpose dining hall and communal bathroom facilities.
The River House® blends old farmhouse accents with a refined Southern African colour palette. Its spacious lounge, outside veranda, and braai area offer a welcome respite after a day canoeing on the Breede. All our rooms open onto a vine-covered central courtyard, with the scent of fynbos and the sound of birds reaching each room.
The Other House® accommodates up to 18 guests. Situated next to The River House® is a 7-bedroom, modern and contemporary-style self-catering guest lodge, perched on the banks of the Breede River and set on its own expansive half-hectare gardens. It also has a high-ceilinged lounge area.
This stunning and well-apportioned luxury 3-bedroom guest lodge can accommodate up to 6 adult guests and is mostly used by teachers or booked out for small family getaways. The expansive gardens also include a tented camping area (only available for school camps), which can accommodate up to 60 learners.
