Dear Willem, Yolanda and the High Africa Team,
We wanted to send a huge, heartfelt thank you to the entire High Africa team for the incredible way you hosted us for our Leadership Camp. You were both so attentive and supportive during the planning stages of our camp, which made our job that much easier.And from the moment we arrived until the moment we left, you went so far beyond what we could have asked for. You welcomed us, looked after us, kept the energy high, made us laugh, connected so naturally with our scholars and somehow managed to accommodate every request and every last-minute staff need that came your way!
It was an absolute joy and pleasure to be at High Africa and to work alongside your team. Your willingness to understand what we were trying to achieve with the camp, and then actively support us in making those objectives happen, made such a difference. You didn't simply facilitate activities for us — you became part of the experience and helped us create the leadership moments we were hoping our scholars would have.
And then there were all the little things that perhaps aren't part of the programme at all, but meant so much to us. Those moments really stood out to us. It showed the genuine warmth and care behind the High Africa team, and we appreciated it more than you probably realise. Of course, the venue and facilities are exceptional. The activities were such fun, the food was delicious, and the entire experience was incredibly well run. But what really makes High Africa special is your people. Your team brings so much energy, humour, warmth and willingness to go the extra mile. Nothing ever seemed like a problem — there was always a solution, a smile and someone willing to help.
We genuinely could not have asked for more — or for a better team to partner with us for this camp. Thank you for helping us give our scholars such a memorable experience and, more importantly, for helping us achieve what we set out to achieve with them. We left feeling incredibly grateful and very lucky to have had the opportunity to work with all of you, and can’t wait to do it all over again in December.
