At High Africa, our youth development camps are built on the belief that real leadership is forged through action, challenge, and shared experience. Participants dive into purpose-driven activities, from the focus and determination demanded by the Climbing Wall and Horizontal Ladder, to the strategic thinking and teamwork required in Missionaries and Cannibals.
Each facilitated session is designed to push comfort zones in a positive, supportive environment, helping young leaders build resilience, sharpen critical thinking, and grow in confidence, while learning how to lead, collaborate, and inspire others.
Set on the banks of the Breede River, High Africa invites youth organisations to experience teamwork in motion. In 2-Man Inflatable Canoes and fast-paced Canoe Relay Races, participants must move, think and act as one, learning quickly that rhythm, communication and trust are the keys to success on the water.
From gentle stretches to more demanding sections of river, these dynamic challenges build confidence, sharpen cooperation and leave groups with a powerful sense of shared victory that only a river adventure can create.
Alongside more intensive sessions, our fun games create space for connection, laughter, and easy social interaction. Activities such as Human Foosball, Volleyball, and The Pipe Line keep energy levels high while encouraging teamwork in a relaxed, welcoming environment.
These light-hearted challenges help break down social barriers, build lasting friendships, and ensure that every participant feels included, supported, and part of the group.
The success of our youth programs is built on a foundation of safety and professional partnership. High Africa’s estate is managed by an expert team trained in rigorous safety protocols and first aid, ensuring that every participant is protected while they explore. We work closely with NGOs and NPOs to provide total peace of mind, allowing organisers to focus on their developmental goals while we provide the world-class infrastructure and support needed to change lives.
